Seba and I meet again. We first crossed paths in California 8 years ago, working on the development of La Scuola in SF. Now, I invited him in Ecuador to work with local architects to create a public and innovative school! We are now working on how to create a structure for the school that reflects the innovative pedagogical ideas of UNAE – the Universidad Nacional de Educación in Ecuador.
Our central assumption is that a school is not just made by the people that inhabit it, but that the school space can enable for the kind of active, experimental and inclusive learning that we seek to achieve!
